Planter Application

Planter Application

Planting trees on different types of sites for multiple clients across Scotland and Northern England.

When qualified with a PA1 you’ll be expected to work with treated trees, if you do not currently hold this qualification you’ll be unable to work on sites where there are treated trees. We can recommend a provider for getting this qualification if needed.

Working on different forms of tree maintenance such as placing guards, tubes, and other protective equipment on the trees. This can also involve placing canes in for support or bashing guards into the ground with a post-basher.

When you have a PA6 you’ll also be tasked with treating trees using a knapsack sprayer. We can recommend a provider to get this qualification at the same time as your PA1 if required.

If you live in Scotland and meet the following criteria you may be eligible for funding towards these qualifications, but in our experience, the funding can be slow to come through and the course providers don’t seem to offer the courses on a regular basis. You can check out the courses here.
